last service learning project

At the group we walked around school and scouted for place to improve the school. We looked at the weight room and balcony.
We talked about building student lounges there for places to chill and hangout during lunch. That is all we did.

Service Learning

I did nothing for service learning over the weekend. The group i am in is school beautifulcation. At the moment we are not sure what we are going to do. My groupd membors are justin, matt, shaq d, ryon, marcus, and me.

Spanish Progress

In spanish class i am doing good at the moment. I believe my current grade is in the upper 90'. The biggest problem i am having at the moment is pronunciation of the words. On the other hand i am very good at remembering the words and nouns. Also spanish is one of my favorite classes. The main reason is because mr Todd is a very good teacher and helps me learn a lot. On top of that he gives us a lot of freedom in his class. These are the reasons why i like and why i think i am doing good in spanish class.

6 things the school can do

1. Go out and clean up a city park maybe love park or washington square.
2. Go help feed the homeless maybe at a soup kitchen.
3. Do a fundrasier to help people in third world countries.
4. Maybe a school beautifucation type of thing
5. A food drive is allways a simple yet helpful way to help out.
6. A school tutor service for middle schools kids.

Places to do my 15 hours of work

1.My mom after school program to help kids with their homework.
2. Help clean up my local park/playground.
3. Voulenteer to work at a hospital with little things.
4. To help out old folks at the retirement home.
5. Go help out at my old school and tutor kids.

NHD Reflection

NHD was a new experience to me and i learned a lot from it.The most important thing i learned was how to do research and manage my time. I also learned many things about the Lenni Lenape cultures and treaties. My project focus most on their culture and their relationship with the Penn family. I dont think i would change many things next year about my NHD project, except that i would like to manage my time better. I think my final paper turned out great and i am very happy with my work. The biggest challenge I had was to find primary sources, because my topic took place over 200 years ago. Changes for next year would not really be anything. I would still like to do a paper a next year and maybe even another topic related to Indian-European relations.
